A newcomer in dental and dermatology clinic chains, India: three things worth knowing

Who is winning, and the move

Three chains are setting the pace, each with a different move. Clove Dental launched Clove Smile Genie on 7 October 2026, a free app that previews a smile with AI before treatment, and keeps a weekly celebrity campaign on its homepage beside a 650-rupee membership plan that includes a 1,800-rupee treatment coupon. Oliva Clinic updated its laser hair removal cost guide for men on 9 October, printing a range of 2,000 to 15,000 rupees a session while its homepage lists no treatment prices. Sabka Dentist announced on 11 August that it is a certified Invisalign provider, and leads its homepage with a free checkup, estimate and scan and 0% EMI from 2,000 rupees a month.

The nearest competitors

Two moves from nearby competitors are worth watching. Kaya published six dermatology explainer posts on 12 October, on exosome facials, skin cycling and glass skin among others, yet its exosome post does not say Kaya offers exosome facials. Toothsi's parent MakeO was reported on 13 October to have raised 90 crore rupees to open more clinics in India and Southeast Asia, and its pricing page prints three aligner plans starting at 52,999 rupees.

The opening

Our read is that Clove, Oliva, Kaya and Toothsi each contradict their own numbers: Clove prices one plan at both 650 and 590 rupees, Oliva gives two client counts, Kaya cites both 22 and 75 clinics, and Toothsi prints a 4.4 Google average beside reviews rated 4.5-plus. Only Toothsi names patients beside results on its homepage, such as Pooja's 42 aligners over 13 months, yet its own rating undercuts them. A newcomer can win by doing both: named, dated outcomes for one treatment, and counts that agree everywhere.
